conditions 1. General conditions 1.2 A 90% attendance rate is required for all international students. Students may not receive a Certificate of Completion of Course or a report indicating their progress and achievements if their attendance falls below 90%. 1.3 The school reserves the right to substitute teaching staff and merge, cancel, delay or reschedule a class when necessary. 1.4 Students are expected to abide by the school’s terms and regulations at all times. Terms and regulations are explained at orientation. 2. Registration and fee payments 2.2 Full payment of all fees is due before the course begins. 2.3 All fees are calculated on complete weeks and study for any portion of a week is counted as a full week. No compensation is given for public holidays when the school is closed. 2.4 Students who wish to withdraw from the course must give the school one-month notice in writing (Attn: Hawthorn Language School), stating valid reasons for withdrawal. (Verbal notice shall not be entertained.) 2.5 The course fee does not include foreign or local examination/student registration fees, unless otherwise stated. All such fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable. 2.6 Fee payments will be via crossed cheque made payable to TMC Academy Pte Ltd. 3. Refund Policy |
